New York in a day.....eek

Okay, first of all I apologize for the massive size of this post. Log's parents came to visit and their short stay required us to cram the city into one day. We saw a lot and it was a blast! But we were also very tired.....

Waiting for the bus to take us across GW Bridge.

Jim and Pam's first subway experience.

China Town! This is the cute part of Chinatown. The rest is just packed with people and full of hundreds of knock-0ff purses. Needless to say, we left with 6 purses that we didn't arrive with.

This picture was taken for McCall!!

We ate lunch at a Vietnamese restaurant. The food was way good and very inexpensive!

Then we made our way up to Times Square. Jim doesn't like smiling in pictures...

We went to see Hairspray to give us a break from the heat and the walking. It was way good! If you like the movie, I recommend seeing the Broadway. It is just as good, and has a few songs that aren't in the movie. Loved it!

This was Jim's favorite spot. The deli from the Late Show.

David Letterman.....

We walked through central park a little bit. This is The Mall, a long dirt walkway lined with trees. It is really pretty, and the shade felt great!

For dinner we made sure that Jim and Pam got to try some New York Pizza. Thank goodness they got their Diet Cokes for the day!

About to go to the Top of the Rock. Don't ask about the faces....I don't know.

These things are harder to use than you would think.

This one is for Tad. Mmmmmm....

Broadway at night! So cool!

Don't wear flip flops on an all-day excursion in NYC. Your feet won't appreciate it. We didn't take pictures of the blisters on Jim's toes, so be grateful for that.

I am so glad you guys had a good time. Pam asked me what they should do while they came to visit you and and I said that there was to much to see. You guys did a ton of stuff, no wonder you are tired. I loved Hairspray too! All of your pictures are so cute. ---By the way your nieces are so cute and Isabelle loves them! We went and played with them the other day and she couldn't stop talking about them:)

What an amazing experience! I am very jealous that you get to live in such a fun looking place! One of my favorite shows is based in NYC and I always wondered what it would be like to live there in one of the very expensive condos that has it's own little stairway-stoop and walk everywhere instead of drive! Good for you Deb!

I'm with Jenny. Totally green with envy that you are in an amazing place. How awesome was it to be in the Sacred Grove, too? And what's a good post without the truth behind the matter: Feet.
